Marquis Jet, the developer of the 25 hour jet card using the Netjets fleet, has announced that new prices will take effect after the New Year – the first increase since 2001. Other news is that Netjets has announced that they have an additional 500 aircraft on order – in addition to the 500 planes they currently operate.
This probably explains why, according to the WSJ today, there is now a growing wait list for business jets – with the Bombardier Global Express Model now at 36 months, up from its usual 12 month backlog.
