Final High Country Club Plan Delayed

The fate of destination club High Country Club remains uncertain. In a letter to club members, posted today on Destination Club Forums, where current club members have been hashing out the pros and cons of the proposed High Country Club plan, CEO Christian Kirschner said that the club will not “move forward with the Success Plan in its current form.”

The club received 264 votes approving the plan, but several of those members opted to downgrade their membership to a lower plan level. As a result, the club will need to reevaluate how many homes to keep in its portfolio. A final decision from High Country Club was slated for November 17, but now the club is extending the deadline for an additional two weeks. In a letter to club members sent in October, Kirschner said that High Country Club would shut its doors if members did not approve the Success Plan.

Kirschner did not respond to a request for a comment on the recent vote.
