We have had lots of readers tell us about their decision-making process when evaluating clubs. One of the issues some of them have had is determining the value of the houses that a club owns – since the clubs are using value in their marketing literature as a proxy for quality. Is the house on the map really a $3 million house? Did they pay that or buy a $1.5 million house and get lucky over the last 2 years with appreciation.

Well, at least for houses in the US, you no longer have to guess…you can zillow it. Zillow.com, brainchild of former executives from Expedia and $32 million in venture capital is “data porn” for boomers.
