We spoke with High Country Club this morning who told us that they are closing in on their 100th membership and have set today as the deadline to join under their charter pricing model. If you’ve been considering a membership with High Country Club and have done your due diligence using our Decision Guide, you might want to reach out to them today.
In the past we’ve discussed the differences between an early-stage club and an established club. The key milestones for a club to achieve to cross into the established camp are 100 members and 250 reservations booked. Of the more than 20 destination clubs we review, only a handful have crossed the century mark.
As a prospective member there are benefits to joining an early stage club – you can expect to pay a smaller membership deposit and have more input in the direction of the club’s development. Whether these rewards outweigh the risks of joining a club with less of an operating experience is a decision for you and your family.
