I am a member of High Country Club. I thought your readers may be interested in my recent visits to the clubs properties. My family recently stayed at High Country Club Breckenridge house for a week. Revervations were made on line and the process was very easy.

The Breckenridge house is a beautiful four bedroom log and wood home with four bedrooms, three floors, fireplace, hot tub and pool table and entertainment center and high speed internet. It is about 3-4 minutes from the town of Breckenridge and is located on a 5 acre parcel.

We received the keys in the mail a week prior to our stay which was nice as we arrived late. We found the home to be very comfortable and the kitchen fully stocked with all the cooking wares needed. Following this week’s stay we visited 3 other properties, two in Keystone Colorado and one in Telluride Colorado. These 3 properties are all new nicely furnished large condos. All are multi-level and have good access to both summer and winter activites.

I have been very pleased with my membership. Although this club does not offer all the amenities of the more expensive clubs such as a full concierge service, there is always some one on hand at the main office phone to provide help and advise on activities and service for any problems that may arrive.

If you do not need someone to provide you with daily maid service and are capable of going to the grocery store yourself and if you can make your own bed… this club should be given serious consideration as they are rapidly expanding their destinations, they have excellent communication with their members and are thousands of dollars cheaper than the other destination clubs yet have excellent locations and a friendly helpful service desk.
