We spoke with the team at CitationShares today about their new Jet program, Citelines. Citelines is a fractional ownership option based on simplified pricing and non-peak flight savings. Basically, you pay less by opting not to fly on peak days of the year such as the days before and after holidays. Customers can still fly on these days if needed, but at a higher cost.
The second feature of the program is a predictable pricing model – all charges, fees, fuel costs are combined into one annual payment. You can pay this set amount annually or monthly. Citelines tries to avoid fuel surcharges by quoting current fuel costs in their contracts.
In earlier articles on Nov. 7th and Sept. 28th, we have cautioned readers to look out for fuel surcharges. Other private jet companies might quote you a low “artificial fuel rate” on your contract, then bill you for the high actual cost. We are glad to see an attempt by CitationShares to simplify the confusing billing process that often frustrates customers. Details about Citelines Program:
- Choose from 3 planes: (light) Citation CJ3, (mid) Citation XLS, (heavy)Citation Sovereign
